The reason that I know all of this is because I was once where you are now. I've been investing for over 10 years. Early on, I missed out on investing in Facebook when it was $25 share. Or that time when I passed on buying into to Tesla for $20 a share because it wasn't making money. Ouch, that hurts.
I Did Get Better Though!
These missed opportunities actually led to my success with other investments that I made. It also gave me a first-class education on analysing stocks.
I picked up Netflix for $200 in the early days when it wasn't making money. I backed Australia's national air carrier Qantas when it was $1.12 a share making a modest 212% return. In fact, I now have a portfolio that has returned 14.13% per year over the past 10 years.
